Aeromonas in acque potabili: un rischio reale o potenziale?

Riassunto - In questo lavoro è stato tracciato il quadro delle attuali conoscenze relative ai microrganismi appartenenti al genere Aeromonas. Ii loro ruolo come patogeni e il significato della loro presenza nelle acque potabili non sono stati ancora stabiliti e sono tuttora materia di dibattito. Ad ostacolare la soluzione delle controversie nate intorno a questo genere contribuiscono sopratutto le difficoltà di differenziazione e caratterizzazione delle diverse specie, alcune delle quali identificabili solo con metodi molecolari.
Summary - The present knowledge about the Genus Aeromonas is described. The role as pathogens of the microrganisims belonging to this group and the hygienic significance of their presence in drinking water is stili subject of discussion. Besides the role of drinking as a vector for pathogenic Aeromonas, is diffìcult to verify or to exclude. Most problems arise from the difficultics of identifying the different species, some of which can be distinguished only by molecular methods.
Résumé - Dans ce travail nous avons mentionné les connaissances sur les microrganismes du genre Aeromonas. Le rôle de ces bactérics comme pathogènes et le signifié de leur presence dans les eaux potabies a pas été établi ci est toujours debattu.
Zusammenfassung - In dieser Arbeit wird der aktuelle Stand der Kenntnisse, der dem Genus Aeromonas angehörenden Mikroorganismen, zusammengefaßt. Die Rolle die sie als Krankheitserreger spielen und die Bedeutung ihrer Präsenz im Trinkwasser ist noch nicht ganz klar und steht noch zur Diskussibn. Vor allem Schwierigkeiten in der Differenzierung und Chatakterisierung der einzelnen Arten, einige können nur mit Moleko-larmethodiken indentifiziert werden, erschweren cine Klärung der Meinungsverschiedenheiten die uni diescs Genus entstanden sind.
