Riassunto
Lo studio riporta i risultati di un'analisi di epidemiologia descrittiva,
condotta dagli operatori di una USSL della Regione Lombardia, sulla
mortalità della popolazione residente nel periodo 1988-94. Utilizzando
i tassi di mortalità specifici per sesso, età e causa di morte,
oltre che i tassi standardizzati, si traccia un interessante quadro
della situazione epidemiologica locale, le cui caratteristiche si
rivelano strategiche nella programmazione e valutazione delle politiche
sanitarie condotte dalla USSL. |
Summary
- Mortality surveillance at the local level: results and health
policies
The present study, which quotes the results of a descriptive
epidemiological analysis, has been carried out by sanitary staff
of one of the Health and Social Security Departments in Lombardia,
and concerns the mortality of population registered in that area,
during the period 1988-1994. Considering both the mortality index
- listed by sex, age and death causes - and the standardized indexes-
it has been possible to realize an interesting table about the local
epidemiological reality, whose results and characteristics are very
important for the planning and evaluation of the health policies
carried out by the above mentionated Health and Social Security
Department. |
Résumé
- Surveillance épidémiologique de la mortalité au niveau local:
implications pour les programmes de prévention
L'étude reporte les résultats d'une analyse d' épidémiologie descriptive,
effectuèe par les opérateurs d'une USSL de la région Lombardie,
sur la mortalité de la population résidante de 1988 à 1994. Utilisant
les taux de mortalité spécifiques par sexe, age et cause de décès,
et aussi le taux standardisés, on obtient un tableau intéressant
de la situation épidémiologique locale, dont les caracteristiques
se révéllent stratègiques dans la programmation et l'évaluation
des politiques sanitaires conduites par la USSL. |
Zusammenfassung - Uberwachung der localen sterblichkeit:
Ergebnisse und Ausssichten
Die Arbeit beschreibt die von Angestellten einer lombardischen
Gesundheiskrankenkasse durchgefuehrte Statistik ueber die Mortalitaet
der dortigen Bevoelkerung im Zeitraum von 1988 bis 1994. Bewertet
wird die spezifische Sterblichkeitshaeufigkeit nech Geschelecht,
Alter und Todesursache, zusaetzlich nech standartisierten Werten;
dadurch ergibt sich ein interessantes Bild ueber die lokale epidemiologische
Situation, deren Merkmale sich guenstig fuer die Gestaltung und
Durchfuehrung der Gesundheitspolitik der Krankenkasse erweisen koennen.
