| Riassunto
I sistemi sanitari stanno attraversando un profondo processo di trasformazione
dettato dall'esigenza di trovare soluzioni innovative capaci di contenere l'inarrestabile
incremento dei costi per la salute determinati da alcuni importanti mutamenti
nella domanda di prestazioni e nell'offerta dei servizi. In tale contesto il presente
lavoro intende analizzare la collocazione dell'Ospedale nel complesso dei Servizi
Sanitari, la sua trasformazione sul piano organizzativo e funzionale e la sua
capacità di adattarsi al rapido evolvere delle tecnologie e alla nuova
domanda di prestazioni e servizi. |

Summary Health
care systems are going through a deep change due to a need to find new solutions
and curb ever-growing health care costs. Such increases are caused by some important
changes in the demand and offer of health care services. This study is meant to
analyse hospital structures within the general field of health care services,
their organizational changes as well as their capacity to quickly adapt to new
technologies and needs. |

Résumé Les systèmes d'assistance
sanitaires sont en train de subir des transformations
profondes qui tiennent
au besoin de trouver de nouvelles solutions pour abattre les coûts sanitaires.
Ces augmentations découlent d'important changements dans la demande et
l'offre mêmes des services sanitaires. Les auteurs analysent les hôpitaux
dans le cadre des services sanitaires, leurs transformation structurelle et leur
capacité de s'adapter aux nouvelles technologies et besoins. |

Zusammenfassung Die öffentliche
medizinische Versorgung unterliegen zur Zeit einem tiefgehenden Umwandlungsprozeß,
bedingt durch die Notwendigkeit, neuartige Lösungen zur Beherrschung des
unaufhaltsamen Wachstums der Kosten für die medizinische Versorgung zu finden,
wie sie sich aus den veränderten Leistungs-Anforderungen und -Angeboten ergeben.
In diesem Rahmen wird die Stellung der Krankenhäuser innerhalb der Gesundheitsdienste,
ihre mögliche Transformation in organisatorischer und funktioneller Beziehung
und ihre Anpassungsfähigkeit an die rasche technologische Entwicklung und
neue Anforderungen auf dem Gebiet von Leistungen und Diensten, analysiert. |
