Vengono descritte l'evoluzione dei compiti e delle competenze attribuiti al Tecnico della Prevenzione e all'Assistente Sanitario durante più di un secolo e la trasformazione che la Riforma delle Professioni Sanitarie, il nuovo assetto organizzativo del Sistema Sanitario Nazionale e la Riforma del Sistema universitario hanno determinato, nell'ultimo decennio, nei percorsi formativi.

Summary There are some prevention-associated health skills that have existed
in Italy since 1800. This study is based on the professional evolution of such
practices as the prevention consultant's or the health assistant's over more than
a century. It also focuses on the impact that the Italian Health Reform, the NHS
new orientation as well as the University Reform have had on public training
schemes over the last ten years.

Résumé Il y a des métiers sanitaires liés à la prévention qui existent en Italie depuis 1800. Cette étude repose sur l'évolution professionnelle de certaines métiers - tels les techniciens de la prévention ou bien les assistants sanitaires - au cours de tout un siècle. Les auteurs mettent aussi en évidence l'impact que la Reforme Sanitaire, la nouvelle approche du Système Sanitaire Italien et la Reforme Universitaire ont eu sur les Schémas de Formation Professionnelle au cours de ces dix dernières années.

Zusammenfassung Schon ab 1800 findet man in der Ordnung des öffentlichen Gesundheitswesen in Italien Personalstellen für Aufgaben der Gesundheitsvorbeugung. Beschrieben wird die Entwicklung der Aufgaben und Zuständigkeiten von technischen Angestellten im Gesundheitsdienst während mehr als einem Jahrhundert; Veränderungen haben sich durch die Reform der Berufe im Gesundheitswesen, ferner durch die Neuorganisation des nationalen Gesundheitsdienstes und der Universitäten in den letzten zehn Jahren ergeben.
